Arturo "Art" Carrasco

Arturo Carrasco passed away on April 26, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born on March 20, 1951, to his parents, Simon and Eva Carrasco.

Arturo will be remembered for his presence in the lives of those who knew him and for the strong family connections he held throughout his life. He had a love for sports, especially football and baseball. He was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys, finding great joy in watching the games. He shared that passion with family and friends.

His legacy lives on in the hearts of his beloved sisters, Otilia Johnson, Evarista Lujan, Elidia Carrasco, and Elisa Carrasco, and is carried forward by his cherished nephews, nieces, and extended family.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Arturo’s life at the following services:

Viewing will be held Friday, May 1st, 2026, 10am to 8pm with Rosary at 7pm. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026. All services will be held at the Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in McCamey.
