As anyone who was close to Betty knew, she had no problem letting you know who her favorites were which was unmistakably, nephew Jo’el AKA Chunk! As well as many beloved nieces and nephews.
As a babysitter she also had many children that she loved and adored as her own. Betty was a devoted housewife, always keeping a clean home and meals on the table. She enjoyed spending time with lifelong friend Marlyn Wright, doing arts, crafts and sewing. Betty was very competitive when it came to games she enjoyed, such as golf, softball, and volleyball.
Betty and Mondo spent many years doing activities with close family, Jimmy and Rogelia Armendarez. They enjoyed going dancing, golf, cookouts, camping trips, fishing, ping pong, family time, board games as well as many trips out of state, to gamble which had become something they looked forward to.
Betty will be sorely missed by all of those she touched, with her big heart, and unmistakable laugh!
But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
