Brittney Nicole Huertas Sotelo

Brittney Nicole Huertas Sotelo passed away at the young age of 33 on Wednesday May 14,2025. 

Brittany was born September 27, 1991 in Monahans Texas. Her love for her family was boundless and cherished every moment spent with them. Brittney loved everyone she met.

Brittney was a special person and you knew without seeing her she was present by the sound of her infectious laugh. When you heard her laugh you couldn't help but laugh right along with her, even if you didn't know what she was laughing about. Brittney was known for her unwavering kindness and selfless dedication to helping others. Her compassionate spirit and ability to bring joy to those around her will be deeply missed.

Brittany is survived by her husband Fabian Sotelo, Daughter Averianna Huertas, son Kingston Sotelo, mother-in-law Irma Sotelo, Her parents Luis and Melinda Cerna, Arturo Huertas, sisters April Dominguez Berg, husband Darren Berg, Breann Cerna husband Arturo, brothers Brandon Cerna and Isaiah Rayos wife Dorthy. Nieces, Abigail, Arianna, Alyssa Navarrete, Kiara, and Natalia Cerna. Maternal grandmother Sophia Ornelas and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

She is preceded in death by maternal grandfather Edward (Lalo) Ornelas. Step grandparents Luis Sr and Celestina Cerna Paternal Grand parents Manual Sr and Felicita Huertas, uncles Pasqual Huertas, Obel Huertas, Osvaldo Huertas Sr, and Abel Huertas.
