Casey Allen Delgado, a beloved father, son, brother and friend, passed from this life unexpectedly on March 14th 2026 at the age of 39.
Casey, the oldest of four, was born August 20th 1986 in Fort Stockton, TX to Mario and Latisha Delgado.
He was a man of deep faith, who took pride in raising his sons, teaching them integrity, hard work, and the true measure of a man through his words and examples.
Casey had a very extensive career in the west Texas oil fields and was never afraid to get his hands dirty in order to provide for his family. He was a selfless man and always put others before himself. He will especially be remembered for encouraging all who knew him to live life to the fullest. His positivity and no regret lifestyle attracted many special friendships throughout his life. His smile will never be forgotten and his energy will always be an inspiration.
Casey loved the outdoors, places like Pandale, TX; his home away from home. He had a passion for shooting guns, and you could bet your last dollar he would be standing around a fire pit on any given night.
He loved man's best friend and has been reunited with a few of his special pups including Butch, Ragnar, and Klaus.
As iron sharpens iron, he spent his life sharpening the character of his sons, and the spirits of his friends. To say he will be missed is an understatement, Casey was a true blessing to this world and the impact of his passing only proves that.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Latisha Delgado of Sheffield, TX. Brothers, Brandon Delgado of Dutch Harbor, AK. Nicholas Delgado (Aryann) of San Angelo, TX and sister Skylar Delgado of Hobbs, NM.
His beloved sons Tra and Blayne Jarrell and Cruz and Noah Delgado of Odessa, TX. He also leaves behind his fiance Maricela Lombraña of Eagle Pass TX and a countless number of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Mario Delgado, paternal grandparents Hilberto and Delfina Delgado and maternal grandparents Fred and Marzena Kirkfield.
A rosary in his honor will be held Thursday, March 19th at 7:30 p.m. in Sheffield Texas at Good Shepherd Catholic Mission.
A mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, March 20th, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. with Father Carlos Rodriguez officiating. Graveside services will immediately follow at the Sheffield cemetery.
