Derell Wayne Harvey

Derell Wayne Harvey, 84, of Crane, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.

Derell was born December 10, 1941, in Breckenridge, Texas. He lived in Crane all his life and was a 1961 graduate of Crane High School. He later retired from Getty Oil Company after many years of service.

Derell was a member of the Mason Lodge and the Crane Country Club, and he was an avid golfer who greatly enjoyed spending time on the course with friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Shona Lyn Harvey, on April 20, 2005, and his wife, Frances “Frankie” Harvey, on May 25, 2005.

Derell is survived by a host of relatives and many close friends.

Graveside memorial services will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. A meal will follow at Mountain View Community Center, where family and friends are invited to gather and share memories.
