Dora Elia "mom's "Fuentes passed away peacefully on June 14th, 2025, in Crane, Texas, at the age of 82, born on March 6th, 1943, in Delrio, Texas Dora lived a life marked by devotion to her family and community. Dora was a beloved wife to Manuel Fuentes and a cherished mother to her kids, Eduardo Berton jr. (Gigi) and daughters, Alma Escamilla (Joe) and Sylvia Ann Vargas (Cipriano) her legacy continues through her grandchildren. Christina Berton, Ernesto Berton jr., Eric Berton, Ariana Berton Jose Eduardo, Nicolette Salcedo, Krystal Villalobos. Steven Escamilla Adrian Rizo, Miranda Rizo and Aaron Vargas. She also leaves behind many great-grandchildren. Who brought her immense joy? She is remembered fondly by her brother's Efrain Cervantes (grace) Ernesto Cervantes (Gracie) as well as her brother, in-law, Librado Fuentes (Margie) and sister-in-law, Pat Cadena (Rick) Dora's extended family includes numerous nieces and nephews across Texas, Arizona and Washington State. Who will carry forward the warmth of her memory? Dora is proceeded in death by her parents from the Cervantes family. Several brothers who names are held close in memory and her sister Elvia Flores. Her Son Ernie Berton and grandson Gregory Berton. For over 25 years Dora worked at the Crane hospital where she formed lasting friendships with colleague and patients alike her dedication to service and care, left an enduring impression on those around her. Above all else, Dora was deeply devoted to her children and grandchildren. Her love, for them was its evident in every aspect of her life, a guiding light that shaped the lives of those she held dear Dora Elia (mom's) Fuentes will be remembered for the love she gave. So freely and the strength she carried throughout her life. May her memory bring comforts to those who knew and loved her.
