McCAMEY: Ector M. Martinez, 56 of McCamey, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2010 at the Odessa Medical Center Hospital.
Rosary/wake services will be held at 7:00 PM on Sunday, July 4, 2010 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McCamey. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 5, 2010 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery in McCamey. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols funeral home of McCamey.
Ector was born on January 29, 1954 in Bakersfield, Texas. He was a Pumper/Lease Operator and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Manuella Martinez of McCamey; three sons, Ector Martinez, Jr., of Grand Prairie, Texas, Sammy and Albert Martinez both of McCamey; one daughter, Diana Martinez of McCamey; a one brother, Luis Martinez of San Angelo, TX; two sisters, Yolanda Gomez of McCamey, Mary Martinez of Ft. Stockton.
