Genaro Rocha Jr., 43 years young, passed away on July 30th, 2025. A devoted husband, proud father, loving son, loyal brother, and cherished "Damps." Genaro's presence brought light, laughter, and strength to everyone who knew him.
Genaro was the heart of his family, a man whose love was unwavering and whose joy came from the people closest to him. His smile could light up a room, and his sense of humor could ease even the heaviest of days. He lived with purpose, worked hard, and always put his family first.
As the saying goes, "All people die, but not all people live." Genaro lived. He embraced every moment, gave his all to the people he loved, and made an unforgettable impact on those around him. He packed so much life into his forty-three years. He traveled, chased his dreams, and never let anything slow him down. He left this Earth a happy man!
He is survived by his high school sweetheart/wife Wendy Rocha; his children Aaron Rocha (fiancé Ashley) & Alyssa Rocha; his grandson Grayson Rocha; his parents Genaro & Nora Rocha; his siblings Maria Alejandra Rocha & Nora Simpson (Matt Simpson), and all those who were lucky enough to call him family or friend. His memory will forever live on in their hearts and in the many lives he touched with kindness and strength.
Visitation will take place on August 5, 2025, at the Nichols Funeral Home in Crane for family 9-11 a.m. and open to friends 11-9 p.m. with the Rosary taking place at 7 p.m. A service will be held at 11 a.m. on August 6, 2025, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, with burial immediately following. A reception will be held after services at The Bird in Crane.
Though his time here was far too short, the love and laughter Genaro leaves behind will never fade.
