Jackie Lee Bartlett, 89, of Crane, Texas breathed his last on June 5, 2024, in Big Spring, Texas. He was born on January 17, 1935 in Drumwright, Oklahoma

Jackie, a Navy ship gunner for 4 years, served his country with honor and dedication. After his military service, he pursued a career as a Roughneck and later as a Pumper, excelling in his field. Later in life he and Carol owned Jack’s Package Store.

Known for his sweet, caring, kind, gentle, and generous nature, Jackie was beloved by all who knew him. He had a passion for dancing, billiards, music, and arts and crafts.

Jackie will be deeply missed by his wife, Carol Bartlett; his children, Randy Bartlett of Midland, Jackie and Karen Snow of Novice; his 4 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mae Bartlett; his brothers Everett and Ray Bartlett; and his sisters Opal Shuttlesworth and Helen Davis.

Jackie found solace in worship wherever he was at. He prayed often and loved us all deeply.

A devoted family man, a dedicated professional, and a man of many hobbies, Jackie's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
