JoAnn Ervin North was born on July 24th, 1930, in Eastland County, Texas. She departed this life on February 14th, 2026, at Heritage of Clear Lake at the age of 95 years old with her loving family by her side. JoAnn yielded her spirit unto God and entered into her new heavenly home with Jesus.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Dulin and Maidee Dulin; her first husband Lester Ervin; and her second husband, Bobby North.

JoAnn is survived by her children, DeWayne Ervin (Debbie) of Texas City, and Elaine Phillips (Donnie) of Del Rio; her sisters Patsy Teague (Bill) of Crane, and Penny Ross (Gary) of Abilene; her grandchildren Kristi Ervin of Texas City, Eric Ervin of Houston, and Kyle Ervin of Texas City.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the Crane County Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, at the Nichols Funeral Home in Crane.
