Jose Cruz Garcia (Guero) 72, of Rodeo Durango passed away peacefully on December 28,2025 surrounded by his loving family.

Born on June 24, 1953,  in Rodeo Durango, Jose Cruz Garcia lived a life marked by kindness and love for his grandchildren. He was a loving parent and husband. He was loved so much by his grandchildren and his children. He work in the oil field for 30yrs. One of his hobbies includes horse racing he loved it so much.

Jose Cruz Garcia is survived by his spouse Guadalupe Garcia (Lupe); His children and spouses, Hugo Adrian, Jose Cruz Jr and Logan Garcia, Kevin and Estely Goodloe, grandchildren, Cohen, Laila, Izabella, Lailani, Kaiden, Adrian, Slader Austin, Harper. His siblings are Arnulfo, Lioncio Maria. 

He was preceded in death by his parents Lioncio Garcia and Jovita Valencia, and his sister Mela Garcia, Gregoria Garcia, and brother Jesus Garcia.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane with burial to follow in the Crane County Cemetery.
