Kristie Grigsby, a cherished daughter, sister, mother, aunt, niece, and cousin, peacefully passed away on December 23, 2023, at 5:56 pm. She was born in San Angelo, Texas, to Gerald & Stacy Grigsby.
Kristie's vibrant spirit and infectious laughter touched the lives of those around her. She graduated from McCamey High School in 1996, where she was a dedicated cheerleader from 7th to 12th grade and also enjoyed playing golf. Her free-spirited nature and love for her friends created cherished memories that will be forever treasured.
Known for her compassion and empathy, Kristie was always there for anyone in need, offering a comforting shoulder to lean on or a listening ear. She had a remarkable ability to bring joy and laughter to her siblings, even in the most challenging times.
Above all, Kristie was a devoted mother to her three beloved children, Styer, Kamp, and Lexi. She took immense pride in their achievements and never missed an opportunity to boast about their successes.
Kristie is survived by her children, Styer and Kamp Bradley of McCamey, and Lexi of Midland, Texas. She is also survived by her loving parents, Gerald and Stacy Grigsby of McCamey; her sisters, Misty (Benny Carrillo), Brandy (Bryan Glenn), and Jaylea Grigsby, all of McCamey. Her Aunt Julie Gaime of Van Alstyne Tx; her nieces, Nevaeha, Mia, Phoebe, Brynn, and Bria, and her nephew, Jace; as well as her cousins, Lacey (Danny Gasser) of Midland, Texas, and Shanna (Mike Hernandez) of Uvalde, Texas. Kristie was preceded in death by her grandmother, Bonnie; grandfather, Dodo; nanny, Margie Grigsby; papa, William "Doc" Grigsby; uncle, Joe Gaime; aunt, Ruthie McDevitt; uncle, Tommy McDevitt ; uncle, William "Tuckom" Grigsby; uncle, Jim Grigsby; and aunt, Rebecca Swanner.
Kristie's legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Kristie was liked by many and loved by all.
May she rest in peace, knowing that her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she left behind. We will forever carry her memory in our hearts.
