We regretfully announce the passing of Lucia "Lucy" Ramon of Odessa, TX on July 14, 2023.
Lucy was with her family and passed away peacefully.
Our mother, Lucy, was one of the strongest, most courageous and bravest women to ever walk this earth and our family was blessed to have her as the head of the family. Lucy met Eulogio and together they moved to Sacramento, California to raise their family. Lucy was a wonderful and loving mother who gave her all to her family. We will never be able to fill the void left by her passing. Lucy relocated back to Texas after the passing of her husband.
She is predeceased by Eulogio- Husband, Juan Carrasco-Father, Rosa Carrasco- Mother, Vidal Carrasco- Brother, Sister's Elidía Cobarrubio and Carmen Marquez. She is survived by Sister's- Linda Perez and Josie Aranda, Son's Gerard, Mark, Vidal, her Granddaughter's- Richellyn, Alysa "Lys", Ashton, Emmillia "Millia", D'Vette, her Grandson's- Jordan, Gerard II "J.J.", John "Johnny" and her Great Granddaughter's - Aaliyah "Liyah" and Eleana "Ele".
Viewing with Rosary will be held at 7pm July 17th, 2023, at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home in McCamey, Texas. Mass will be held July 18th 11am at Sacred Heart Church in McCamey followed by interment.
