Manuel Lozano (Ginn) Armendarez passed away peacefully on October 4, 2026, in Rankin, Texas, at the age of 87.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2026 at The Rankin Park Building. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Rankin Park Building on Saturday, October 17, 2026, with burial following in the Rankin Cemetery.
Manuel (Ginn) dedicated 50 years in the transportation field Texas and in California. He was a hardworking man who took pride in all he did. During his younger years in California, he enjoyed camping and making memories at Knotts Berry Farm. In retirement, Manuel enjoyed the simple things in life- watching his old westerns, getting in his truck to later in life cruising around in his Lincoln Town Car just driving around town, BBQing on weekends and most of all visiting family and friends.
Manuel (Ginn) was a man who cherished his family and the time he spent with the people he loved. His presence, stories, and memories he created with those around him will be treasured and remembered for years to come.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Manuel (Ginn) was preceded in death by his parents, Mauro and Estefana Armendarez; his wife, Frances Grizzle; his daughter, Donna Thomas; and his brothers, Eddie (Lalo), Juan, Abel, and Richard Armendarez.
He is survived by his daughters, Sheri Armendarez and Vickie (Mark) Leverenz; his siblings, Antonia Castaneda, Elvira (Jose Luis) Aguirre, Armando Armendarez, Linda Rodriguez, Gilda (Nieves) Lopez, Gloria (Andres) Sifuentes, Aida (Gilbert) Ramirez, Jimmy (Rogelia) Armendarez, and Rosemary (Rick) Ferguson; his granddaughters, Renee (John) Lovett, Natalie Jones, Ericka (Mike) Slatton, Julia Robinson, and Tanya (Travis) Hoover; his great-granddaughters, Alayna (Layni) Lee Slatton and Carey Jade Hoover; as well as many nieces and nephews.
