In Loving Memory of Margarita Meraz

June 29, 1967 – August 8, 2026

Margarita Meraz was a loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother, and a woman whose beautiful spirit touched so many lives. She loved life to the fullest and will forever be remembered for her strength, her laughter, her faith, and the love she gave so freely to everyone around her.

Margarita shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband, Librado Meraz, whom she loved dearly. Her family was her greatest blessing. She was a loving mother to her two children, Kristi Zuniga and Fabian Meraz, and a proud grandmother to Alexia, Aubree, Adrianna, Alianna, Joziah, Amari, and Isabella. She was also blessed with her precious great-grandson, Zakai, who brought an extra special joy to her heart.

She loved watching her grandchildren grow, making memories with them, and being there for the moments that mattered. Her love for her family was unconditional and endless.

Margarita was a woman who loved to laugh and have a good time. She treasured her friendships and loved spending time with the people who made her smile. She was always willing to help someone in need and had a heart that made people feel cared for and loved.

Her Catholic faith was an important part of who she was. Through every chapter of her life, she carried her faith with her and found strength in God.

Margarita was a true fighter. She faced life’s challenges with courage, determination, and a strength that will never be forgotten. She never stopped fighting, never stopped loving, and never stopped living life to the fullest.

Margarita was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Pascal and Maria Zuniga. And also nephew, Micheal Zuniga.

She is survived by her husband, Librado Meraz; her children, Kristi Zuniga and significant other Bobby, Fabian Meraz and wife Kristi ; her grandchildren, Alexia, Aubree, Adrianna, Alianna, Joziah, Amari, and Isabella; her great-grandson, Zakai; her brother, Daniel Zuniga, and his wife Jenna; her brother, George Zuniga, and his wife Mari; and her sister, Armida Zuniga. Along with many extended family members, friends, and loved ones who will forever cherish her memory.

Although her family is heartbroken by her passing, they are grateful for every moment they were blessed to have with her. Her laughter, her love, her strength, and the memories she created will live on through the family she loved so deeply.

She may be gone from our sight, but she will never be gone from our hearts.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
