Ricardo Zuniga, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away on August 14, 2026, at the age of 84.
Ricardo was a hardworking man who dedicated his life to his family. He was a man of strength, love, and devotion, and his family was always at the center of his heart. Those who knew Ricardo will remember him for his caring nature, his hard work, his singing, and the love he showed to those around him.
Ricardo was married to Benita Zuniga for 54 years, sharing a lifetime filled with memories, family, and love. Later in life, he was blessed with 4 years of marriage to his second wife, Yolanda Zuniga, who was a loving companion.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Benita Zuniga; his siblings, Mauro Zuniga, Anastacio Zuniga, Pascual Zuniga, Romula Zuniga, Andrea Valenzuela, Alicia Hernandez, and Maria Baeza. He is survived by his sister, Manuela Galindo.
He was a devoted father to his children: Carmen Gonzales and husband Greg, Anna Baiza and husband Carlos, Ricardo Zuniga and wife Norma, Edward Zuniga and wife Melissa, Martin Zuniga and wife Blayne, and stepson Jesse Chavarria and wife Julie. Ricardo was blessed with 25 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought love and happiness into his life.
Ricardo will be remembered as a strong, hardworking, and caring man who always put his family first. His love, guidance, stories, and memories will remain in the hearts of his family and all those who knew him. Though he is no longer with us, the legacy he leaves through his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren will continue for generations to come.
Ricardo will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
May he rest in eternal peace.
