Sonny Dwayne Galindo Sr., 54, of Iraan, Texas, passed away on May 18, 2026. He was born on April 19, 1972, in Iraan, to Ernest Sr. and Gloria Galindo.

Sonny was known to be an adventurous and caring man. This could be seen in the way he lived each day; with optimism, curiosity, and a desire to make the most of every opportunity. He enjoyed taking on new experiences, discovering new places, meeting new people, and creating stories that would be remembered for years to come. Above all else, he cared deeply for those around him and had a gift for making people laugh, feel loved, welcomed, and important. His kind and caring nature left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Ernest Sr. and Gloria Galindo of Iraan; his son, Sonny Galindo Jr. of Midland; two brothers, Omar Galindo of Iraan, Ernest Galindo Jr. and wife Valerie of San Angelo; his girlfriend, Gloria Johnson and her family of Iraan; his nieces and nephews; and his 4 grandchildren.
