Obituary

It is with deep love and profound sadness that the family of Sue Jo Miller announces her peaceful passing.

She was born on April 11, 1963, in Linden, Texas. Sue entered this world with gentle spirit and a heart big enough to hold everyone she loved.

She was the oldest daughter of Pauline Moss, who survives her, and the late Charles William Bailey. She grew up in a modest but loving family. Sharing childhood memories and lifelong bonds with her sisters, Carolina Klingensmith, Melissa Davis, and Elizabeth Davis.

In 1978, Sue married Robert Miller, who preceded her in death. Together, they immediately started an eventful life journey of raising their three children: Robert Allen Miller, and wife Aimee Miller lives in Crane, Texas, Rebecca Ann Miller who lives in Odessa, Texas, and Sherry Lynn Diaz lives in Crane, Texas. Sue poured her whole heart into motherhood, and in time she was blessed with nine grandchildren, each one adored and cherished beyond measure. Being a grandma became one of her greatest joys.

Later in life Sue’s heart found a second great love with James Trimble. Their years together on a ranch in Sanderson, Texas, brought her peace and happiness that radiated from her. Ranch life suited her soul perfectly -mornings filled with fresh air, days spent caring for their animals, fishing, hunting, and countless moments appreciating the beauty of the land they shared.

Sue had a sparkle that was unmistakable. She cheered fiercely for her Dallas Cowboys and believed there was nothing quite as perfect as a horse, or an ice-cold Dr. Pepper. Her laugh was contagious, her hugs healing, and her presence comforting in a way few could match.

Above all, Sue will be remembered for her kindness-the kind that asked nothing in return-her unwavering devotion to her family, and the love she so freely gave. Her legacy lives on in the children she raised, the grandchildren she adored, and the countless hearts she touched along the way.

The family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace, reunited with loved ones gone before her, and watching over those she leaves behind. Her memory will remain a blessing forever.

“The ones we love never truly leave us. They live on in the lessons they taught, the love they shared, and the memories we treasure.”
